In Japan, Sakato is one of the largest—if not the largest—manufacturers of mushroom cultivation bags.
The company specializes in cultivation bags for substrate production. The filter used is similar to the B-filter from Unicornbags. The bags offer excellent value for money combined with very good product features.

Our product range includes two sizes made of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE or HD-PE):
Size M for approximately 2.5 kg of substrate

The PE versions of the bags are designed for temperatures up to 95–100 °C. If sterilization at higher temperatures is required, PP is mandatory. (HD-)PE, on the other hand, is suitable for gamma irradiation.
